Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's engagement has been highly reported on the days and weeks before last Sunday's NFL match. It was rumored that Travis Kelce will propose to Taylor Swift after winning the Super Bowl.
However, numerous sources have shot this down, but some still speculated that it would take place. A majority of Taylor Swift fans seemed to call out Kelce for the missed opportunity, but an expert says that he might have done this for a good reason.

Body Language expert Judi James told The Mirror that a Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce engagement at the Super Bowl seemed to be "brand compliant."
"If anyone was disappointed that Travis didn't actually propose at the Super Bowl they shouldn't be. A huge public proposal would have looked too brand-compliant, plus both Travis and Taylor needed to enjoy their individual moments of global victory and career fulfillment after her award and his win without adding to the mix and combining too many memories," she explained.
James further explained that the couple instead displayed the "intensity" of their love on the public through their body language signals, which radiated their "compatibility as a couple."
"Taylor was always going to fan-girl Travis with one of her encircling hugs but previously she has then very maturely stood back to allow him to dominate the spotlight after a win," she furthered. "Here though their clinging rituals and his constant need to nuzzle her seems to show she's the place and the person he instinctively wants to dock in with when he's at the peak of his elation and celebration."

Elsewhere in her The Mirror interview, Judi James also pointed out that Taylor's pattern of hugging and kissing defined the "more authentic side to their love."
"They take it in turns to act like overwhelmed children, first Travis with his nuzzling then Taylor when she wraps her arms around his ribs and clings to him while he looks at the cameras with a grin," she elaborated.
After the Chief's big win, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce went clubbing with Swift's parents, as chronicled in a video that Swift posted on TikTok.
