Travis Kelce was already famous back when he and Taylor Swift began dating, but his level of fame heightened even more because of the pop star's fans. More recently, his brother Jason spoke out about the downside of his popularity to the point that he needed to move houses; what happened?

Jason, who's also an NFL athlete and plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, spoke with Shaquille O'Neal on his "The Big Podcast With Shaq" earlier this week where he shared the positive and negative sides of the level of fame that his family amassed after his brother started dating the pop superstar.

"It's crazy what it opens up, opportunity-wise... It's crazy to feel how much joy you bring people, or how much you affect people's daily lives," he explained.

Billboard noted that Jason became popular among Swifties as well as his wife Kylie, who previously watched the game with Taylor Swift.

Travis Kelce Had to Move Out of His House Because of Popularity

Unfortunately, there is also a negative side of being mega-famous, Jason noted that it came to a point that Travis had to move out of his house.

The reason why he needed to switch locations was because there were people "staying by his house."

"The first day he moved into the new house ... a gated community, someone knocks on a window of the house," Jason added.

Although Jason clarified that both of them have been "big" within the world of football, it was a different case when Taylor Swift came around.

"The Taylor world and the pop culture world, that's a whole different level. It's a new demographic that wasn't there before," he explained.

Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl

In early reports, a sweet encounter between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce was captured on camera where they can be heard expressing their love for one another after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl.

At the time, the musician rushed to her boyfriend to give him a big hug, and Kelce couldn't believe his lover traveled halfway across the world just to support him.

For context, Swift just wrapped up her last show in Tokyo for her "Eras Tour" so she immediately hopped on a plane, and crossed nine time zones and the international date line to watch her boyfriend's game.
