Australian supporters of Taylor Swift were incensed over the weekend when a mob of boisterous football fans descended upon the Melbourne Cricket Ground to jeer the pop sensation.
With her sold-out Eras Tour, Taylor is presently touring Australia.
On Saturday night, she performed her second gig in Melbourne in front of nearly 100,000 people at the MCG. However, numerous football supporters who had congregated outside the venue were seen on camera criticizing Swift; one female fan even recorded the entire scene and uploaded it to TikTok.

The booing has been criticized by many for demonstrating the sad reality that some men simply cannot tolerate the thought of women having fun.
The video opened with footage of a throng of supporters singing Swift's name outside the MCG.
A group of males walking next to them, decked out in beanies and footy scarves, started making jeers and hisses.
"What the f**k? You guys are such losers," a Swift fan can be heard saying in the video, adding: "Why are you here? This is embarrassing. What the hell. This is so embarrassing."
"Football fans swarming Taylor's concert to boo her. Even the police had to come get rid of them. To all the soccer boys outside the MCG booing Taylor: sincerely F U."
Since then, furious Swifties have taken to social media to express their outrage.

One wrote: "These poor little men, they are so scared of a woman's powers they thought embarrassing themselves was the way to go. Imagine being this bothered by women having fun."
It follows the outcry of Swift fans worldwide about what they saw as Australia's preferential treatment of Swift during her Eras Tour.

Swift surprised Melbourne fans with an extra-special surprise song-a mashup of her songs Getaway Car, The Other Side of the Door, and August-and incited outrage on social media from around the world.
The following night, she made another mashup of "Comeback Be Here" and "Daylight," to the delight of her Aussie fans, but to the outrage of those who watched her concert in other countries.

"WHAT POSSESSED HER TO DO THIS?" a Twitter fan screamed (at least through text).
Another person remarked, "Does Taylor owe Australia money or something?"
Someone else posted a meme with the caption, "The rest of the world watching Melbourne getting getaway car x August x the other side of the door mashup," featuring an expressionless NFL player during a tickertape parade.
The singer also made a world-first announcement to the crowd at her maiden Melbourne Cricket Ground performance: a new song named The Bolter would be featured on the special version of The Tortured Poets Department.
Naturally, fans outside of Australia felt shortchanged by Swift now.
Taylor Swift though is just grateful for the love she's receiving from Aussie fans.
