New reports made shocking claims about Meghan's alleged desperate move to become Swift's friend after the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer rejected her invitation. One source said it would be her only way to stabilize her popularity after she and Prince Harry moved to the U.S.

Wall Street Journal said Swift's team politely declined Meghan's invitation, but new reports claimed the duchess has remained desperate to befriend the "Lover" singer.
Commenting on the source's statement, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield opened up about it on "GBN America" and started a debate about Meghan being desperate to be friends with Swift.
"Meghan invited Taylor Swift on her podcast by sitting down and writing her a handwritten letter begging her to be on Archetypes," she said. "Meghan attended the Taylor Swift concert in Los Angeles, but she made sure People Magazine knew she attended."
Meghan attended the Eras Tour's stop at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium in 2023. She reportedly attended with her friend Lucy Fraser.
Per Schofield, Meghan aims to be like Swift "marketing-wise" after rebranding their website from Archewell to Sussex.com. They also designed the website to refer to them using their official royal titles, showing the text, "The Office of Prince Harry & Meghan, The Duke & Duchess of Sussex."
Taylor Swift Deals With Pressure To Get Married
Amid her Eras Tour, Swift has also been focusing on her blooming romance with Kelce. Over the past few months since they started dating, the pair have dealt with engagement and marriage rumors.
In an email to CNN, professor of communication studies at California State University in Los Angeles Kate Kurtin reflected on the consumers' tendencies to idealize marriage among celebrities.
"The cynic in me is saying that consumers feel an entitlement to know details about celebrities' lives and 'get the scoop' and see all the pictures and marriage is the next demand they are placing on Swift and Kelce," she said.
Per Kurtin, fans are happy for her because she is also happy in her new relationship.
