"me after I pissed my man off but still love him," she captioned the post along with a video clip from "Spongebob Squarpants" where Spongebob throws flowers at an unamused Squidward.
Although Hailey did not provide any more context as to why her husband was "pissed" at her, many seemed to connect the eyebrow-raising photo to her recent statements.
Hailey Bieber Divorce Imminent After Valentine's Day Woes
In Hailey Bieber's recent vlog with Chelsea Handler, they talked about Valentine's Day celebrations and even the lack thereof.
"What was your favorite Valentine's memory ever?" Chelsea asked. "Do you have one?"
But Hailey seemed to have hit a stump, resulting in a shocking answer: "Ummmm...." she mulled, "Been married for five years ... can barely even think of it."
"Oh no!" Chelsea responded, saying, "She's 27, and she's been married for five years, and she's already over Valentine's Day."
This wasn't the first time that Hailey Bieber signaled that she was having some marital problems with Justin Bieber.

Eagle-eyed users have noticed that Hailey's Instagram was trimmed down significantly and multiple photos of her and Justin were either archived or deleted.
Meanwhile, a National Enquirer source also added fuel to the flame.
"He acts like a needy kid all the time and she's constantly having to apologize for him and try to get him to act like an adult," an insider revealed, as quoted by Radar Online.
Meanwhile, some fans expressed skepticism on the possibility of a Hailey and Justin divorce.
"I believe it 100% but Hailey also seems to be someone with a lot of patience and I don't see them divorcing any time soon or ever if they so choose lol," a fan said on Reddit.
"I don't see her ever ending the relationship. She chased after him for so long that I wouldn't ever see her being the one to file divorce," someone wrote.
