The queen of country music Dolly Parton welcomes Beyonce as she crosses over to the genre with her upcoming album; she even gushed about the singer's new song.

"I'm a big fan of Beyoncé and very excited that she's done a country album," the "I Will Always Love You" hitmaker wrote in an Instagram post. "So congratulations on your Billboard Hot Country number one single."

According to reports, one of Beyonce's new singles, "Texas Hold 'Em," topped Billboard's Hot Country chart, and it has also gone viral on several social media platforms, specifically TikTok.

This is one out of two of the "Break My Soul" singer's releases prior to releasing her highly anticipated country album, "Renaissance Act II."

Beyonce also released "16 Carriages," along with its accompanying music video.

Beyonce Makes Country Music Album

Beyonce's "Renaissance Act II" is slated for release on Mar. 29, two years after releasing "Renaissance Act I," which featured R&B and house music.

Unlike the first album of her trilogy project, the "Alien Superstar" hitmaker's country singles were met with resistance from country music radio stations in the United States.

According to reports, Beyonce's songs were not played on any of the radio stations, as many rejected the singer's crossover to the genre.

However, the singer's fans demanded the radio stations to play "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages.

"I've never experienced anything in my career like the amount of communications that we received in support of the song," said Roger Harris, general manager at Oklahoma's KYKC station.

"Up until now, she hasn't been a 'country artist'," he explained why they refused to play her music. "So we responded to the email in the same way we would have responded to someone requesting a Rolling Stones song on our country station."
