The speculation on Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's marriage woes grew stronger after the latter opened up about rekindling with her ex-boyfriend, Tony Kanal.

Speaking to KROQ's Megan Holiday, Gwen Stefani opened up about No Doubt's upcoming reunion performance at the 2024 Coachella music festival.
"I personally think that we shouldn't even rehearse and that we should just, like, separately rehearse and then show up on stage and see what happens," she suggested. "Just make it really 'edgy.' No, I think it's gonna be fun."
Unbeknownst to many, Gwen Stefani's bandmate in No Doubt, guitarist Tony Kanal, is her ex-boyfriend.
They started dating in the late 1980s and continued dating for years. According to Hello Magazine, Kanal broke up with Stefani after seven years.
"After Tony broke up with me, I realized I had something to say. When I started writing songs, it was like, 'I'm a real human, I can do something,'" she said at the time.
When asked how it would work out on their reunion, Stefani had this to say:
"I think we're gonna get in the room and actually be face to face and just start laughing," she confessed. "Cause there's just so much water under the bridge. We just had such a life together."
The interview came amid intensified rumors and reports that the two have been suffering marital woes.
Shelton has embarked on his Back To The Honkey Tonk tour and has been touring the country away from her beautiful and talented wife.

This was because the couple have been busy with their respective music careers, and their personal lives.
The buzz about Stefani and Shelton snubbing each other emerged after the former deleted videos featuring her husband from her Instagram page. Shelton found himself in hot water as the public accused him of not prioritizing his marriage to Stefani.
