TikTok users love Taylor Swift's surprise songs from her Eras Tour, and her most recent mash-up didn't disappoint.

But it appears as if Swift is the one averse to her own lyrics these days - if she sees them implying anything negative about her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Swift, 34, blended "Fifteen" from Fearless (2008) with "You're on Your Own, Kid" from Midnights (2022), two songs about the melancholy desire for youthful love that were released 14 years apart, at her Eras Tour concert in Singapore on March 6.

Taylor Swift Did This for Travis Kelce?

The nostalgia of "Fifteen," the friendship bracelet line in "YOYOK," and a possible math-based Easter egg that defies logic were some of the reasons Swifties were going crazy over this mash-up, but at least one fan pointed out that something was missing.

As X.com user @Audrey_Ratjack pointed out, Swift omitted the "Fifteen" lyric, "In your life you'll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team / I didn't know it at fifteen."

"Take that information as you will," the X.com user wrote.

Swift is currently dating NFL star Travis Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl winner, so it stands to reason that she omitted the line.

To be fair, when combining two songs, some lines will always be omitted, thus this may have been more of a pragmatic decision than anything else.

Taylor Swift Master of Lyrics with Hidden Meanings

But Swifties may also find this hard to brush aside, considering the prowess Swift has over her songs, her lyrics, her image, her projection - everything. Everything has a meaning.

One should recall that this is the same performer who altered the words of "Karma" from "guy on the screen" to "guy on the Chiefs."

She also understands that her fans like to decipher the meanings of her unexpected songs, so it's possible that they didn't intend for the football line to be seen as a jab at Kelce. It could really go either way.

Whether she sings that line or not, Swift has accomplished far more in life than to date the football player.

Swifties can vouch for that.

Also, Travis Kelce is hardly just any other football player, his net worth would show that he owns that sport.
