Drama seems to be an ongoing thing in the Presley family.

Following a lengthy series of negotiations, Riley Keough has finally become the sole trustee of her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley's estate.

However, the singer's former husband, Michael Lockwood, has now demanded that Riley cover $153,000 in legal expenses linked to his involvement with Lisa Marie's twin daughters, Finley and Harper.

Riley Keough Faces More Legal Drama

Following Lisa Marie Presley's death in January 2023, Michael Lockwood assumed guardianship of Harper and Finley, the late singer's daughters.

Legal documents reviewed by Radar Online revealed that Michael asserted his involvement in supporting the Emmy nominee's appointment as the estate administrator.

Consequently, he sought court approval for Daisy Jones and the Six actresses to cover expenses related to engaging the legal services of RMO LLP on his behalf.

According to a statement, "Through the significant efforts and contributions of the parties, including Mr. Lockwood and his counsel, all disputes surrounding Lisa Marie's estate were amicably and efficiently resolved, and that settlement was approved by this Court on August 4, 2023."

"From the outset, Michael and his counsel played a central role in helping keep the parties focused on resolving those issues with minimal court intervention."

They said, "Importantly, Michael was able to achieve his goal of ensuring the court issues were all resolved effectively and cost-efficiently so Finley and Harper would have the financial resources their mother intended."

Before the unexpected passing of Elvis' only daughter, Michael relationship with her had been strained due to ongoing disputes over child support and custody following their separation in 2016.

According to an insider reported by OK magazine, Riley Keough was enraged by Michael being granted custody of her younger siblings after her mother's death.

The "Daisy Jones and the Six" star has also taken on the responsibility of managing various outstanding matters, such as settling some lingering financial obligations.
