Zayn Malik recalls some of the best moments of his career, including the time he received a rare gift from a legend that made his One Direction bandmates jealous.
The musician, who is set to release a new album this 2024, recently sat down with Sean Evans on his show "Hot Ones," answering several questions as he ate chicken wings with different levels of spice.
He revealed in the episode that he received an early-edition, rare Iron Man comic book that the legendary Stan Lee personally signed. Malik noted that it was gifted to him by Morgan Spurlock at the end of the production of the movie "One Direction: This Is Us."

One Direction Members Were Jealous of Zayn Malik After Receiving Rare Gift
Elsewhere in the interview, Malik explained that Spurlock was close with each member of One Direction, which is why, by the end of working on their movie, he decided to give them personal gifts.
The singer said the comic book was an "amazing" gift, so special that he hung it on a wall in his house and loved to brag about it to his friends, who are also fans of comic books.
He noted that his "geeky, nerdy friends" want that rare item from him, but he joked that none of them could have it while he's still alive.

Malik later revealed that even his One Direction bandmates were jealous of him because he received the rare, special gift.
"I remember the boys being super...pissed off about it too, because they didn't get as good gifts and [Morgan] gave me this signed Stan Lee comic. I remember being like, 'this is f****** sick," he said. (via People Magazine)
