Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez's marriage is official done.

The Los Angeles Superior Court issued the final judgment, formally ending their marriage.

The verdict comes six months after the "Thank U Next" diva initially filed for divorce, bringing closure to their two-year marriage.

Ariana Grande, Dalton Gomez's Divorce Finalized

With a prenuptial agreement, no children, and minimal legal conflicts, the couple's divorce proceeded smoothly and efficiently through the court system, according to several reports.

Grande and Gomez reached a mutual agreement on the terms of their settlement.

As part of the agreement, Ariana will pay her former husband a lump sum of $1,250,000 without any provisions for future alimony, as reported by the Associated Press.

In addition to splitting the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home, the former Nickelodeon child star has agreed to contribute up to $25,000 toward the realtor's legal expenses.

Similar to countless other divorces in California, Ariana's divorce petition cited irreconcilable differences as the cause for their separation.

Did Dalton Cheat On Ariana?

After starting their relationship in January 2020, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez chose to isolate together amid the global pandemic.

Ariana and Dalton appeared in the music video for the philanthropic track "Stuck With U" (with Justin Bieber) in May of that same year, and they revealed their engagement in December. In a quaint, intimate event held at Ariana's residence in Montecito, California, the couple exchanged vows on May 15, 2021.

However, fans recently speculated that they uncovered the cause of the couple's split, concerning Ariana Grande's latest song, "Eternal Sunshine," featured on her new album of the same name.

Fans interpreted lyrics from the track as suggesting that Dalton cheated and lied to the singer-actress.

Ariana sang in the first verse, "I've never seen someone lie like you do." The lyrics continue, "Now she's in my bed, laying on your chest / Hope you feel alright when you're in her."

Soon after parting ways with Dalton, Ariana reportedly found love with Ethan Slater, her fellow cast member in the film production Wicked. Slater, at the time, was still legally married and co-parenting a young son with wife Lilly Jay.

Critics quickly judged the "7 Rings" singer, labeling her a "homewrecker."

Insiders revealed to TMZ that the burgeoning romance between Grande and Slater evolved during the collaborative creation of their musical film.
