While Dua Lipa was out this week in Paris with her boyfriend Callum Turner, her security guard was seen on camera getting quite aggressive in the bid to protect her.

On the said video, the guard could be seen shoving a fan out of the way to keep the singer safe, but ended up pushing too hard and sending the fan's phone flying.

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa did not even bat an eyelash and checked what the commotion is all about, which triggered mixed reactions among her fans.

Dua Lipa Bodyguard Pushed Fans Away 'Forcefully'

The 28-year-old music sensation and her 34-year-old actor partner were spotted getting out of a car when an adoring admirer approached them and started waving at them.

But before the fan could get to Dua, a powerful security guard slapped her away, sending her phone crashing to the floor.

The bodyguard's actions have been the subject of internet fan commentary, with many stating that he was "simply doing his job."

Others, nevertheless, contended that the fan was merely attempting to record a video of the well-known celebrity and that his actions were excessively violent.

Those in support of the security guard, said, "I would be annoyed too if someone put a phone into my face, the security guard did it's job rightfully, but damn that girl gotta get a new screen."

Another shared, "We stan how Dua Lipa's security guard took lessons from bad bunny about what to do with phones!!"

"It looks like the security guard had pushed her away before he did that right? Idk if I'm missing something but it seems like she just didn't respect their boundaries," one more said.

But others also think all these were unncessary. Some find it a bit annoying that Dua Lipa did not even turn around.

Radical Optimism, Dua Lipa's upcoming album, will be available on May 3.

This is four years since her last album.

Future Nostalgia was released way back in 2020. She never went out of the limelight because she was also acting.

In addition to appearing in the movies Argylle and Barbie, the latter of which featured a notable performance of her song "Dance the Night," Dua Lipa also released a remix companion directed by the Blessed Madonna and repurchased the rights to her publishing catalog last year.
