Long before Casper Smart or Marc Anthony were even a blip on Jennifer Lopez's love radar she was briefly married to Cris Judd who choreographed several of her early videos. The two got together after filming her "Love Don't Cost A Thing" video and they were married after a whirlwind, month-long engagement back in 2001. The marriage itself lasted under two years and while the paparazzi drove the couple crazy, Judd said in a recent interview that the constant attention isn't what ultimately divided them.

Cris Judd was on hand recently for the 2014 Industry Dance Awards in Hollywood and he contemplated why Jennifer Lopez's relationships always seem to crumble.

"I can't give you the answer as to why her relationships don't work. I think that it's that it is work. It's whether you want to work on it or not. Everyone has baggage and problems. It's whether you want to deal with those problems."

So, in his interview with US Weekly Judd seems to kind of insinuate that perhaps Jen doesn't exactly like to work on things. If you think about it she's known for being a bit of a diva and her concert Rider's tend to have some pretty epic demands. Up until now many of Lopez's fans seemed to believe that she might just pick the wrong men over and over again. According to what Judd seems to indicate she's simply not a fan of dealing with relationship speed bumps.

Whatever the case may be, Judd clearly doesn't seem to have a case of sour grapes over his 2003 divorce from Lopez, as he points out that he and his current love of five years, Kelly A. Wolfe, are happily married with an almost one-year old daughter named Vivienne.
