On April 5,Jojo Siwa's former dance coach, Abby Lee Miller, reacted to the significant change in her branding and got honest about it. 

 JoJo Siwa underwent a massive rebrand after entering her new musical era with a brand new single, "Karma," in which she showcased her dance moves and a different persona that the public had never seen before. 

According to People magazine, the Dance Mom star took to her TikTok account to share a video of herself watching the music video for "Karma," which became successful as it already amassed millions of views just days after its release.

Throughout the clip, Miller shared her reaction while her former prodigy danced to the beat of her new song along with other dancers with whom she interacted.

"Whoa! I want to be on that boat. I thought it was absolutely amazing," she initially said.

Abby Lee Miller's Reaction to JoJo Siwa's New Persona

It seemed like the dance teacher had a great time watching her former student's new video, as she noted at the end of the clip that she would watch it "over and over and over again."

Later on, Miller shared her honest response to JoJo Siwa's new look as the singer was known for her rainbows and sunshine aesthetic in the past, but today, she channeled a much darker persona, wearing a sheer bodysuit and makeup seemingly inspired by KISS.

"Everyone is making such a big deal about her rebranding. JoJo is doing incredible dancing with a lot of paint on her face," she said.

The reality TV star applauded Siwa, saying that her dancing was incredible, adding, "I don't know if it's so much as a rebranding or just maturing, getting older, wanting to show another side of her."

JoJo Siwa Maintained a Good Relationship With Abby Lee Miller

Many alums of Dance Moms shared their different experiences later in life after they appeared on the show when they were younger. Although most were negative, JoJo Siwa still defended Abby Lee Miller.

In a 2020 interview with UsWeekly magazine, the musician said she talked to her former dance teacher most out of any of the cast members with whom they previously worked.

She also noted that it's sad because not everyone from the program talks to her anymore.
