Sean "Diddy" Combs resolved a minor legal issue in his favor.

Unfortunately, despite this small victory, he is entangled in a web of problems.

Diddy Lawsuit Dropped

The wrongful termination lawsuit filed by Diddy's former nanny has been dropped, ending the legal battle that threatened to tarnish the rapper's reputation further, according to Radar Online.

After considering her options, Raven Walden, the former nanny working for the "I Need A Girl" singer, voluntarily withdrew her legal case with prejudice.

This decision comes after Walden initially raised concerns about wrongful termination following her employment with Combs from 2018 to 2020.

Within the lawsuit, Walden claimed she was hired to care for the twins of Diddy and his former partner, Kim Porter, named Jessie James and D'Lila, who are now 17 years old. Upon working for Diddy's Los Angeles home, the former nanny claimed her presence with intentions to assist the household.

As time progressed, tensions arose when news of the nanny's pregnancy surfaced, ultimately leading to her dismissal.

Allegations arose that Walden was dismissed from her role as the family nanny solely because of her pregnancy. She claimed that Diddy informed her it was not setting a good example for his twins to be looked after by an unmarried, pregnant mother.

In the lawsuit, the nanny sought unspecified damages for her termination.

When faced with the lawsuit, a spokesperson for Diddy dismissed the claims as a "meritless shakedown" and refuted any plans to bring Walden on board as a permanent staff member.

"Her babysitting services were always intended to be temporary, especially since the girls were getting older and spending most of the day at school."

The representative emphasized that the decision was not related to her unexpected pregnancy but to her perceived lack of effectiveness in the role.

Diddy's Legal Win

Amid her assertions of being wrongfully fired, Walden also claimed that she was related to Porter, an allegation that Diddy strongly refuted. The legal representatives of the Bad Boy Records mogul insisted that the case be thrown out, citing the nanny's alleged failure to meet job expectations and adhere to Diddy's Defendants' guidelines.

In response to Walden's concerns, Diddy's attorney argued that the defendants had been uncooperative in providing responses and advocated for imposing $5,000 in sanctions.

"Instead of filing the Motion and wasting Court and party resources, [Walden] should have consulted with [Diddy] on a production schedule in order to understand when they would be producing the documents they committed to. Sanctions are not warranted under these circumstances because the documents sought have been produced, the Motion was irrelevant to [Diddy's] production, and [Walden] counsel manufactured a dispute that did not exist."
