Nicki Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, expressed his intention to join the rapper on her upcoming international tour, citing the need to assist with childcare responsibilities.

As per documents sourced by Radar Online, Petty's legal representative stated that he sought to travel overseas with his family to support his wife's tour and professional endeavors.

According to the motion, "Mr. Petty and Mrs. Petty believe Mr. Petty is necessary to accompany the family on the tour for various purposes, including childcare."

Petty's lawyer said, "The anticipated travel schedule begins on April 17, 2024, and continues periodically to July 14, 2024. The travel schedule calls for travel to several countries including Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Austria, Ireland, Switzerland, and Romania."

It was noted that the Government had been made aware of the application without expressing a stance. Additionally, Petty's probation officer has been informed and raised no objections to the travel request. The judge has not yet delivered a verdict on the issue. Journalist Meghann Cuniff initially reported this development.

Petty ultimately entered into a plea agreement with prosecutors. He was accused of the first-degree rape of a woman identified as Jennifer Hough, which later led to a reduction of the charge to attempted rape.

After the agreement, Petty received a four-year prison sentence. Upon his release, he was required to register as a sex offender.

Kenneth Petty Legal Case

Petty joined Minaj in California to begin a new life together following their marriage in 2019. However, in 2021, he encountered legal issues due to improper registration as a sex offender after relocating.

The court then ordered him to undergo three years of probation and complete his sex offender registration in California. According to the document, he must abstain from unlawful use of controlled substances and comply with drug testing as directed by the Probation Officer.

Petty completed his 120-day house arrest at Minaj's $20 million residence. His arrest stemmed from alleged probation violations related to threats against Offset, Cardi B's spouse. Additionally, both Petty and Minaj were instructed to compensate a security guard with a significant sum for an alleged assault incident during a concert in Germany.
