New reports have emerged regarding Jennifer Lopez's desire to expand her family.
According to a source who spoke to Life & Style, the "Let's Get Loud" singer has been actively advocating for having another child through a surrogate with her husband, Ben Affleck.
The source suggests that Affleck has finally come around to the idea after some persuasion.
After their early 2000s attempt at love, the couple parted ways with a shattered engagement. They had children from previous relationships-Affleck with ex-Jennifer Garner and Lopez with ex-Marc Anthony-totaling five kids.
Despite experiencing divorces and engaging in other marriages, the two found their way back to each other in 2021.
Their journey culminated in a heartfelt wedding ceremony the subsequent year in Georgia, marking a profound and symbolic milestone for Lopez.
With their commitment sealed for the foreseeable future, sources reveal that Lopez now harbors a genuine desire for a new opportunity: starting a family with Affleck.
The source said, "She nagged him until he went along with it."
"[Lopez] was completely happy with the blended family they already had-but he loves kids, so he agreed to having another. At the end of the day, he wants Jennifer to be happy."
The pair is said to be in the initial phases of preparing for their upcoming project.
"[Lopez] is obsessing over every detail - she intends to interview surrogate candidates herself and see where they live and be at every doctor's appointment."
They went on to say, "She talks about it nonstop. [Affleck] figures it's easier to go along with her, but he's realizing what he's gotten himself into. It's just going to get more hectic!"

Setting Boundaries
Following recent reports of setting boundaries, it has also been disclosed that Lopez has established guidelines for her husband.
An insider revealed that the "Jenny from the Block" hitmaker has explicitly communicated to Affleck that smoking cigarettes is prohibited inside or near their residence.
"[Lopez] loves [Affleck], but she's tired of his nasty cigarettes," the insider revealed to Life & Style.
"She put up with his smoking at first because it's his only vice left and she didn't want to be a nag, but she can't stand it."
Having overcome his smoking habit before, Affleck found himself falling back into it while dealing with other substance abuse challenges. Lopez remains optimistic that she can support him in kicking the habit for good this time.
The insider concluded, "She hates cigarette smoke, and what's worse, she's smelling it on his clothes. While [Affleck] goes outside to smoke now, she'd rather he not smoke at all."
