Even though he hasn't released an album since 1999, rapper and producer Dr. Dre has handily topped Forbes' 2014 Hip-Hop Cash Kings list, bringing in a staggering $620 million this year, mostly due to Apple's $3 billion purchase of Dre's company Beats back in May. Not only is Dre's $620 million income higher than that of the other 24 rappers on the Cash Kings List combined, it's also the highest annual income of any entertainer ever calculated by Forbes.

Forbes calculated their list based on "income from touring, record sales, publishing, merchandise sales, endorsements, and other ventures." Other rappers in the list’s top 5 include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with $32 million and Drake with $33 milllion. Jay Z and P. Diddy tied for second with $60 million each.
