Trisha Yearwood must struggle to keep her husband Garth Brooks from overshadowing her, considering his whole comeback-tour-and-album and mystery campaign over the last year. Perhaps why that's why she's just announced that her new collection, PrizeFighter: Hit After Hit, would be released on November, less than a week following Brooks' new set.

This won't be a full new LP but will feature six new tracks coupled with ten "greatest hits" singles. Among the new material will be the title track, a collaboration with Kelly Clarkson. Fans won't complain about getting anything new however. Yearwood hasn't released an album of new material since 2007's Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love. That might not be as long as Brooks has gone without releasing any new music (Scarecrow, 2001) but fans of both performers will be happy to hear new stuff as the couple continues its highly-hyped tour (currently stopped in Atlanta).

"It's been 23 years since (my) first single and I'm just not ready to stop swinging the bat," Yearwood said at a press conference, covered by Rolling Stone
