Early on the morning of Sept. 24, Scottish EDM superstar Calvin Harris took to his Twitter account to reveal that he would be releasing some new music soon.

When asked by one of his followers if this meant a new album is on the way, Harris replied, “Yes” and that this new album will be out before the end of the year.

And here are his confirmations that his new album will be out in 2014:

Harris is currently riding high on the success of his latest single "Blame," featuring John Newman, which hit No. 1 in the United Kingdom — it only hit No. 31 in the United States, but Top 40 is not too shabby. Harris's most recent studio album is 2012’s 18 Months, his third overall, which was the first album to have nine Top 10 singles in the United Kingdom.

Among the Top 10 singles from 18 Months were "Bounce," featuring Kelis; "Feel So Close"; "Let’s Go," featuring Ne-Yo; "We'll Be Coming Back," featuring Example; "Sweet Nothing," featuring Florence Welch; "Drinking from the Bottle," featuring Tinie Tempah; "I Need Your Love," featuring Ellie Goulding; "Thinking About You," featuring Ayah Marar; and "We Found Love," featuring Rihanna.
