
The 78th Tony Awards , the most prestigious awards in American theater, were heralded by a red carpet where film, television and Broadway celebrities such as George Clooney, Cynthia Erivo and Sarah Snooke nearly outshone even the fashion world.

However, the stars shone at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, including Latina artists Joy Huerta and Justina Machado , from the musical 'Real Women Have Curves', as well as Lin-Manuel Miranda and Anthony Ramos , who were on stage to celebrate the first decade of Hamilton, the musical that changed their lives and revived musical theater in the United States.
The Clooneys weren't the only Hollywood presence; legendary actress Mia Farrow , who was nominated, was also present, accompanied by her son, investigative journalist Connan Farrow. Moana star Auli'i Cravalho and television actresses Sarah Snook ( Succession), Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) and Sadie Sink (Stranger Nights) were also present.
Meanwhile, Leah Michelle and Darren Criss reminded fans how together they brought music to life on Glee.It was a special night to celebrate not only theater, but also a record-breaking Broadway season that has proven that actors can navigate all the mediums their performing arts allow with success and without barriers.
