Neil Young surprised fans of his supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young at a recent gig in Philadelphia when he said the band would never tour again. Howard Stern asked the musician about the remark on his radio show today, Oct. 14, and Young danced around his problem with David Crosby and revealed why he was not filmed at Woodstock.

The singer stood by his recent statement, saying the group will never reunite "in a million years," Consequence of Sound reported. Young told Stern his relationship with Crosby was fixable at one point, but that time has passed. You can listen to it below.

"Playing with Stills and Nash was really great," he said. "I wish [Crosby] the best with his life. There's love there, there's just nothing else there."

Young gave no specifics about the beef.

Crosby spoke to the Idaho Statesman last month after news of Young's divorce from his wife of 36 years, Pegi, surfaced.

"I happen to know that he's hanging out with somebody that's a purely poisonous predator now," Crosby said before a photo of the "Southern Man" singer with now-girlfriend Daryl Hannah spread. "And that's karma. He's gonna get hurt. But I understand why it happened. I'm just sad about it. I'm always sad when I see love get tossed in the gutter."

Young neither confirmed or denied that Crosby's comments were the source of the problem.

CSNY's last public performance was at Young's 2013 Bridge School Benefit concert.

"We've been together for a long time," Young told Stern. "We did a lot of great work. Why should we get back together and celebrate how great we were? What difference does it make? It's not for the audience, it's not for money either."

The always-entertaining Young also explained why he was not filmed at Woodstock.

"I didn't like the f-----g cameras, they didn't have to be on stage," he said. "They're cameras, 'Hello! Use your zoom, d------d!'"
