One Direction has already shared some behind-the-scenes photos with Danny DeVito for its new music video "Steal My Girl," but now the boy band is showing off some teaser footage from the new clip in anticipation of its Oct. 4 release date. In a countdown, DeVito, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik are showing off some bizarre behavior in the desert.

In countdowns for five days to go and four days to go until the release of the "Steal My Girl" music video, DeVito can be seen shouting directions at Payne and Malik (separately), channeling for them to be full of "power" and "mystery."

Payne, the powerful one, can be seen smashing balloons filled with colorful powder at the insistence of DeVito in the "5 Days To Go" short snippet. In the "4 Days To Go" countdown, Malik channels mystery, though there is little left to the imagination as the heartthrob pushes aside two massive sumo wrestlers and pours sand through his palms.

At just under 15 seconds apiece, it's hard to discern where in the world the "Steal My Girl" music video is going to go in terms of plot, and with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's DeVito on board, it could really be anything.

Luckily, Directioners don't have too long to find out what the music video will have in store, in full. "Steal My Girl" is set to premiere on Friday, Oct. 24.

"Steal My Girl" is the lead single from One Direction's upcoming fourth studio album FOUR, which is due for release on Nov. 17.
