Blake Shelton performing
Blake Shelton has won more than one or two awards during his career - 4 Academy of Country Music Awards and then there have been the CMT Music Awards, the CMA Awards, the American Music Awards and his iHeartRadio Music Award. That makes for a pretty full mantle (and that's not counting Miranda's 35 and counting - which probably need a room of their own rather than just a mantle!) So when Blake got a gift that was special and important enough for him to move the awards out of the way and put said gift center stage, it must have been a huge one.

That's exactly what he did with the piece of crystal from Barbara Streisand that said, "Thank you, Love Barbara."

The gift was Babs way of saying thanks for Blake's participation on her duets album, Partners. The whole Partners saga was what he called, "nerve-wracking." Though he didn't get to physically be in the studio recording at the same time she was, it was still an amazing experience and it garnered him what he now calls "the best gift he ever received."

The call from Babs asking him to come on board still blows the country singer away. He told People Magazine that at first, pretty much all he could say was, "Who? What? How?" He figured it all out and the song, as well as the album, did well. Partners debuted at #1 and that, in itself, was a milestone. Barbara Streisand is the only artist in music to have ever had a #1 debut in every decade for the past 60 years. With Babs at the helm and singing partners like Michael Bublé, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Babyface, Billy Joel, Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, Jason Gould, John Legend, Josh Groban, Elvis Presley and, of course, Blake, it was all but guaranteed to be a hit.
