It looks like Jennifer Lawrence's romance with Coldplay front man Chris Martin has already come to a screeching halt thanks to his ex, Gwyneth Paltrow. The 13-year age difference between Lawrence and Martin never seemed to be a big deal, but after four months of dating she apparently felt like a third wheel in their relationship. While Lawrence understood that Martin's priority had to be his two children with Paltrow, after a while sources said it looked like the kids were being used to disrupt his life — intentionally.
According to a Radar Online report, Paltrow kept insisting Martin pay more attention to the kids, and then they were convienently interrupting his time with Lawrence. Being a good father, Martin would always drop whatever he was doing in favor of whatever his kids needed, and eventually Lawrence ended up feeling pushed out of the equation a little too regularly.
It also seemed like Paltrow was intentionally trying to put a roadblock between Lawrence and Martin, and eventually it worked: She walked away.
What is ironic is that while Paltrow might have still been trying to control Martin's personal life, she has moved on and is openly dating American Horror Story producer Brad Falchuk. While the couple is not yet hitting red carpets together, they have been seeing each other exclusively for months.
