When it rains, it pours for Suge Knight. Word on web is the former label exec has been hospitalized after an incident in jail. Knight was recently arrested for allegedly stealing a photographer's camera. SNL made a spoof of the incident over the weekend.
According to HipHopDX, Knight is in the hospital after two incidents he suffered while he was incarcerated. TMZ reports the Death Row CEO passed out while being taken to the medical ward and fainted a second time while undergoing an X-ray. Knight reportedly has a blood clot in his lung as well.
Sources for TMZ say Knight has been taking blood thinners since being shot in West Hollywood, California back in August while attending a nightclub. It has been reported that he was unable to take them while incarcerated, which may have caused the blood clot.
As previously reported, comedian Katt Williams was also arrested in connection to the incident.
Williams was reportedly taken into custody after he arrived in court on a unrelated assault charge. Knight was arrested in Las Vegas. Both men were charged with one count of second-degree robbery. Considering both men have lengthy rap sheets, Williams may face up to seven years in prison if convicted, and Knight may serve 30 years to life.
The often-in-trouble celebrities made headlines when they were arrested Wednesday, Oct. 29, for an incident that took place Sept. 5 in Beverly Hills, outside a studio. TMZ caught up with Williams just hours after his release. At that time, he revealed he and Knight were protecting a child from being recorded but never took the woman's camera.
Footage of the incident recently surfaced, and it reveals the child in question is actaully Suge Knight's son. Stay tuned for more updates.
