We are a little more than a week away from Thanksgiving, which means Christmas is in the air ... and has been for a few weeks now. Epic Records has put together an EP of holiday covers titled I'll Be Home for Christmas that includes Fiona Apple, Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson, among others. Female R&B group Fifth Harmony are on the EP, and they decided to take on Mariah Carey's 1994 classic "All I Want for Christmas Is You" while Meghan Trainor contributes an original titled "I'll Be Home."

Fifth Harmony are reverent with their cover of the tune, which is a good choice since it has become a holiday favorite in the last two decades, MTV News reports. The women trade off verses, and the variety of vocals really adds something special to the song.

Listen to it below:

Trainor is pulling a Carey, trying to make a holiday classic of her own. "I'll Be Home" does not have the pop magic of "All I Want for Christmas Is You," but it is stunningly beautiful. The "All About That Bass" singer takes an old sentiment — being home for the holidays — and turns it into a tender ballad for the EP, out Nov. 24.

"I'll find my way back home and light up every tree / We will hang our stockings for you and one for me / 'Cause Santa called to make sure I'm prepared / He said pack your bags and tell them you'll be there," she sings.

A ton of other artists have been getting into the spirit, teaming up with Bob Geldof to update the Band Aid Thirty standard "Do They Know It's Christmas." One Direction, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, Bono, Chris Martin and Ed Sheeran all lend their voices to the track, which was originally done in 1989 and covered again in 2004.
