Jaden Smith has been making headlines today for his and Willow's outlandish interview with T Magazine, but he also dropped his new album, CTV2, in a nontraditional way: for free via a new app aptly titled Jaden Experience. The app's icon features a black-and-white photo of Smith's face with a pyschedlic background.
"I've Worked On This Album For Two Years And Kendall Likes it So Here," Smith said when he released the project on Twitter on Monday night (Nov. 17). "Kendall," refers to his close friend and model Kendall Jenner.
Smith also shared a screenshot of the app on his iPhone with the caption, "That's Just Funny To Me."

CTV2 channels alternative hip-hop artists such as Odd Future, Childish Gambino, and Young Thug but uses Smith's own brand of off-the-top-of-the-head-Internet-worthy lyricism. "I got the brains on my shoulder, I'm the oldest in class/You have A.D.D./Well, I can focus at last!" Smith spits on the jazz-infused track "Symba."
"Honestly, we're just trying to make music that we think is cool," Jaden said about he and Willow in their heady T Magazine interview. "We don't think a lot of the music out there is that cool. So we make our own music. We don't have any song that we like to listen to on the P.C.H. by any other artist, you know?"
As previously reported, Willow released her four-song EP titled 3 as a free download on Halloween.
