Dwyane Wade thought he had navigated through the tough part of his day after the Miami Heat defeated the New York Knicks on Sunday, but things got a bit crazy during the post-game interview when Wade's wife, Gabrielle Union, crashed the party.

"We're gonna talk about the free throws later," she said, alluding to her husband's poor performance from the charity stripe. "But he did good for an old geezer. It's nice. It's good."

Check out Union's pretty-much-unprecedented hijacking:

The pair married this summer after keeping up and on-and-off relationship since 2009.

Union is best known for her acting roles in Bring It On, 10 Things I Hate About You and Bad Boys II, but she's been spending most of the past few years starring in the television show Being Mary Jane.

"She's not a caricature," Union said about her character in January (EW). "That was the first thing. I wanna see people who I know reflected accurately and authentically on screen. The thing about her is she doesn't get it right-she doesn't even get it right like 50% of the time which is life! Most people are jerks on Tuesdays and then Wednesdays they can be saints. That's the reality of human nature but it's very rarely reflected accurately on screen."

Wade, meanwhile, is in his 12th professional season (all with Miami). This is the first time in four years he's not playing with LeBron James, who headed for Cleveland this offseason.

"It was great, you know, we went to the Finals four years in a row, and it was everything we wanted from that standpoint, but sometimes throughout that run, at certain times, it just wasn't fun," Wade told Bleacher Report. "Individually, it was great having certain relationships and having my best friend here with me, but all of us didn't have fun all the time."
