Chris Brown has had many issues in the past as he was involved in some lawsuits filed against him and it could be the potential reason why he's not playing in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game anymore; what happened?

The R&B singer recently took to his official Instagram account over the weekend to share a screenshot of an email which he claimed to be from the NBA and it contained a message that confirmed about his travel and logistics for All-Star weekend.

The basketball tournament happened last Friday in Indianapolis.

In a separate screenshot, a design of his uniform could be seen in the email which hinted that he wa supposed to play under Lil Wayne's team.

However, regardless of the confirmation email that he received, Chris Brown was not part of the basketball game and he explained that he was allegedly uninvited.

Why Did Chris Brown Not Play at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game?

Later on, he shared his sentiments about the matter, as he wrote, "I was asked by the NBA to play in the all star game this year! Only for them to call later and say they couldn't do IT because of their sponsors like RUFFLES."

He added that he's sick of people bothering him and he's tired of "living in the f****** past. I POSTED THE EMAILS SO YALL COULD SEE. The NBA still was tryna get me to come and sit court side... NOT F****** HAPPENING." (via Page Six)

He added that he would only go to places where he's appreciated.

The brand that Brown was referring to, Ruffles, later issued a statement saying that although they sponsored the game, they clarified that they didn't have any involvement to any decisions on who to invite to the tournament.

However, the singer wasn't fond of their answer as he said in a follow-up post: "I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE. YALL KNOW I DONT CHASE CLOUT! The only reason they responded is because of all the team breezy fans flooding they s***."

Chris Brown Issues

Per the outlet, Chris Brown pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault for the beating incident which involved him and his ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009.

It was not his only issue as his ex, Karrueche Tran, previously obtained a five-year restraining order against him after he allegedly became aggresive towards her.
