Just when you thought Pharrell couldn't win any more accolades, the former N.E.R.D. frontman has managed to add another to his exhaustive list of prizes, awards and trophies in his possession. Pharrell will leave a long and treasured legacy in the world of music long after he is gone, but up until now there had been no physical monuments to his name. With 7 Grammys already stashed in his trophy case, it seems unlikely he has an award that could come close to that, but he achieved that yesterday (via Hypetrak). The "Happy" singer was awarded with a Hollywood Walk Of Fame star of his own, the 2537th bellowed upon an esteemed and prestigious celebrity or artist.

The ceremony is kicked off by the President and CEO of the Hollywood Walk Of Fame Foundation, who lists off Pharrell's numerous accomplishments and tries to read some of the songs he has written or produced, resulting in some hilarity. He is then introduced by Ellen, who reads him a poem that in her words "could be turned into a song and make them lots of money."

While 2537 may not be the most glamorous number, it cements Pharrell's place in pop culture history and will allow his name to he carried on in history for as long as the Walk Of Fame stands. He is decked out in his signature hatwear, even inspiring a fan in the crowd behind him to wear a brown sheriff-like hat. Pharrell delivers a speech thanking those who have helped him to this point including his teachers and his grandmothers, while concluding with the point that Ellen was the first person to support "Happy" before radio would even pick it up.
