After previewing his new song "In My Life" through a series of Instagram clips on Monday (December 8), Ludacris has unveiled the entire song, which you can check out below. The song, which is thankfully not a Beatles cover, features some lush, jazzy production, with John Legend providing the soulful hook, and though it's not as silly and outrageous as Ludacris's previous hits, it does show some remarkably maturity from the 37-year-old Atlanta rapper.

"In My Life" is the second single to be shared from Ludacris's upcoming EP Burning Bridges, following "Good Lovin" featuring Miguel. Burning Bridges is set for release on December 16 through Google Play, and will be Ludacris's first-ever EP.

Following the release of Burning Bridges, Ludacris's next studio album Ludaversal is set for release on March 31. It will be the rapper's eighth studio album overall, his first since 2010's Battle of the Sexes.

"This will be my most personal album to date," Ludacris told Billboard about Ludaversal, "in terms of talking about a lot of things that have gone on in my life and just really diving into who Chris Bridges is as a person. So that's what Ludaversal is all about, it's, 'Welcome to my world, this is where I live, this is what I go through on a day to day basis.'"

"I think a lot of rappers are purposely and self-consciously one-dimensional so they aren't able to get figured out so much," he continues. "But I think with me, I am showcasing so many different sides of my personality, it might be hard for people to lock in with one, or it's the exact opposite. It's a gift and a curse."
