Craig Wayne Boyd may have won The Voice season seven, but did the show win on Tuesday night? The ratings for the NBC singing competition are out, and while the show received a mild bump from its season six finale, it's not quite the ratings juggernaut it once was.

12.88 million people tuned in to watch the conclusion of The Voice, according to TV By The Numbers. Those numbers are fairly steady for The Voice, which pulled in 11.69 million viewers for its season six finale in May.

Though those numbers are solid for season seven, The Voice failed to surpass airings of NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans on CBS. The Voice has also fallen from its peak in ratings. The season six premiere in February pulled in 15.86 million people.

The finale was a jam-packed, two-hour event. Before Boyd was crowned the latest "voice" at the end of the show, some of the biggest names in music took to the stage for rousing performances. Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, Hozier, Ed Sheeran and Meghan Trainor all performed for the finale solo, while Jessie J, Jennifer Hudson, Fall Out Boy and Lynyrd Skynyrd paired up with the final four contestants for collaborative tracks.

And of course, the show would not have been complete without a performance from the star coaches. Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell and Gwen Stefani all paired up for a touching rendition of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."
