Demi Lovato debuted her music video for "Let It Go" today. The song will be featured on soundtrack of the upcoming Disney animated film Frozen, starring Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, in theatres Nov. 27.

The video begins with a gloomy Lovato wearing dark clothing and sitting alone in decrepit mansion filled with piles of old book and covered up furniture. She croons, "The show glows white on the mountain tonight / not a footprint to be seen / A kingdom of isolation / and it looks like I'm the queen / The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside / Couldn't keep it in / heaven knows I tried."

Clips from the movie are interwoven into footage of Lovato making her way through the mansion, eventually discovering a piano.

The song transitions to a more empowered tone as Lovato sings, "Let it go / Let it go / Turn my back and slam the door / and here I stand / and here I'll stay / Let it go / let it go / the cold never bothered me anyway."

She shows a "rebirth" as she pushes through a double door wearing a white dress this time with light shining behind her. She almost looks like a Disney princess herself as she conquers whatever it was that she needed to "let go."
