Musician Morrissey's "Autobiography" has already topped the book charts in the UK and become one of the fastest-selling memoirs of all time, according to the Guardian. Now they are reporting an audiobook will be released as well, read by another Morrissey. English actor David Morrissey is set to be the voice behind the book. You know him from AMC's Walking Dead and movies such as The Other Boleyn Girl. He is also a producer, writer and director.

Morrissey's fan site True to You ("a Morrissey Zine") was the first to report this news with the simple statement that Penguin Classics would "release a complete and unabridged digital download of Morrissey's Autobiography on 5 December 2013." Penguin Classics will also be releasing the paperback version of the memoir in the United States. The hardcover comes out December 3rd under G.P. Putnam's Sons.

The day prior, True to You reported personal news about Morrissey:

Morrissey has now been discharged from Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles following treatment for concussion, whiplash and an arm injury. Morrissey would like to thank the medical staff at Cedars-Sinai for their "outstanding level of care and attention." Other publications are still speculating the cause of the injuries, from a car crash to prior health troubles.

Fans across social media outlets have expressed relief over his health and excitement for the audiobook. It is unclear how David Morrissey was chosen for the role of narrator. Both men hail from the UK, share the same name and are in the entertainment spotlight at the moment. Aside from that, we welcome your guesses.

Are you more inclined to skip the 400+ pages and get Morrissey's memoir in audiobook form?
