It's a holly jolly Christmas! The biggest holiday of the year is a mere two days away, and the animators from the animated FOX hit Bob's Burgers and sleepy indie rock band The National are here to spread the Christmas cheer. Just kidding... they've teamed up to release a totally bummer holiday card.

The music video from The National and Bob's Burgers actually features the band performing a song originally heard in this year's holiday episode of the show. Reimagined as a sleepy indie rock hit, the track feels all that more droll.

"Christmas magic / All the cold, hungry people / Christmas magic / Are dying in the streets / Christmas magic / But me and my family will be warm tonight / We'll be warm tonight / Warmer than those people," Matt Berninger croons, dressed as an elf on the Belcher's family Christmas tree.

The rest of The National join Beringer on the tree, decorated as a reindeer, the little drummer boy and other festive holiday decorations, hanging amidst all the bulbs and candy canes in the Belcher's living room.

It's just the kind of video you'll want to watch if you want to feel really bummed out before Christmas, or if you just so happen to really love Bob's Burgers, The National or both (like we do here at Music Times).

This isn't the first time The National and Bob's Burgers have worked together. Last year, they teamed up for a Thanksgiving anthem, "Sailors in Your Mouth."
