Britney Spears has just celebrated the one-year anniversary of her Las Vegas residency Piece of Me. The pop star posted a video on Twitter that includes footage from the show's first year. Check out the clip below:

This anniversary comes almost two months after "Britney Day," a special Vegas event held for Spears Nov. 5 in which she received the key to the city.

"Thank you to Las Vegas for welcoming me with open arms and being so supportive of me and my show," she told those in attendance. "I'm honored to recieve the key to the city's iconic strip and I'm thrilled that today has been declared Britney Day."

The LINQ Promenade hosted fans at the event, with the first 100 people named Britney getting free tickets to her Britney: Piece of Me show.

"This is such a sweet thing to do," Spears said when announcing the show in 2013. "I don't even know what to say. I'm speechless. This is shocking. We wanted the environment to be that way so people could come and have a good time and stand up and feel like they're in the show with me. I love Vegas. The energy here is really, really good."

She was the first artist to score a residency at Planet Hollywood's AXIS theater, and her contract could run as late as 2017, according to a report from Billboard.

Her latest album, Britney Jean, dropped last year, and plans for a new disc are not immediately certain, given her commitment to Las Vegas.
