Monday after a vacation is probably a real shock to the system right now. To jar the brain back into place, The Death Grips snap released a free instrumental album last night (Jan. 4) for their fans. Fashion Week is a 14-track album of pure Death Grips instrumentals that sound as twisted and dark as one would expect from Death Grips production. No Stefan vocals this time around.

This all comes on the heels of the news that their long anticipated second disc Jenny Death from the double CD, The Powers That B had reportedly received a release date in February and was rumored tracklist. Several retailers posted the album release date on their websites, sparking renewed excitement for what is expected to be the final chapter in the Death Grips saga.

The Death Grips broke up suddenly in a very bizarre Death Grips-esque manner over the summer by posting picture of a napkin writing out that they would be breaking up on Facebook. Soon after they announced that the second disc of The Powers That B would be the final album they ever release.

It is impressive to see them still coming up with music even after they have already broken up. The band should have a busy release schedule this upcoming quarter in 2015 with Fashion Week and then Jenny Death expected later in February. Just call them butter, because they are on a roll.

You can stream the full album below on their soundcloud (via The Fader) and download it on the Death Grips website here. Stay tunes for final word on the upcoming album and any more news on what they band has coming up.
