Last night, Ludacris announced that he and his fiancé Eudoxie Mbouguiengue tied the knot over the holidays after announcing the proposal two weeks ago.

"Why wait? Did the thing before 2015. #mrandmrsbridges," the rapper (born Christopher Bridges) captioned an Instagram photo of him and his new wife snuggled together on a couch.

Mbouguiengue also shared the news on her own Instagram account with two side-by-side photos of their wedding day.

"Great way to go into the new year!" she captioned the images.

On Dec. 26, Ludacris shared the announcement of his proposal with fans in an Instagram photo showing his adorable mile-high proposal in a private plane on the way to Costa Rica for vacation.

"She didn't say yes," he captioned the image. "She said HELL YES! #milehighproposal."

According to HotNewHipHop, the couple have been dating since 2008. Congrats to the newlyweds!

Meanwhile, Ludacris is prepping his eighth studio album, Ludaversal, which is set to drop March 31. It will follow up 2010's Battle of the Sexes.

"This will be my most personal album to date," Ludacris told Billboard about Ludaversal, "in terms of talking about a lot of things that have gone on in my life and just really diving into who Chris Bridges is as a person. So that's what Ludaversal is all about, it's, 'Welcome to my world, this is where I live, this is what I go through on a day to day basis.'"

In anticipation for the release, Luda has been sharing freestyles on SoundCloud over popular new hip-hop beats. The LudaVerses mixtape is a compilation of those recent clips, including freestyles over ILokeMakonnen's "Tuesday," Bobby Shmurda's "Hot N**a," Jay Z's "Tom Ford" and Nicki Minaj's Only, and more. Last month, he released his Burning Bridges EP.

Luda will also be promoting his acting career this year with Fast & Furious 7 hitting theaters April 5.
