British R&B singer FKA twigs has shared the music video for her song "Pendulum," which you can check out below. Directed by the singer herself, the bizarre video shows twigs tangled up in what looks like her own hair and later dancing on top of a giant puddle of water with her own face in it. It os the sort of thing Björk would have done back in the 1990s — which, by the way, is a compliment.

"Pendulum" is the third music video to be shared from FKA twigs's excellent debut album LP1, following the videos for "Video Girl" and "Two Weeks." The album was released in August 2014, and was preceded by two EPs, conveniently titled EP1 and EP2, which were released in 2012 and 2013. LP1 has been acclaimed as one of the best albums of the year, and even earned the No. 1 spot from Time magazine.

"When it comes to sound, I'm a massive geek," twigs told Rolling Stone about the writing process behind LP1. "I often write over just drums, with no melodic information or key changes. Then I put everything I can think of — everything, everything — until it's just a massive wall, sometimes with no BPM, no structure, nothing ... Then the next day I'll go in and just chip away at it and keep on chipping."

FKA twigs was recently announced as one of the performers at this year's Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California. You can check out the festival's complete line-up right here.
