Tupac Shakur is still an undeniable pop culture presence nearly 20 years after his death, His brand of hip-hop is so popular, in fact, that it caused a disruption following Sunday, Jan. 18's NBA game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Boston Celtics.

Clippers star DeAndre Jordan was the best player on the floor, collecting 19 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks in a 102-93 victory.

Afterwards, the Fox Sports Los Angeles affiliate attempted to interview Jordan, who had his mind on the arena speakers. Check out the hilarious transcript:

Reporter: You were everywhere today...

Jordan: What?

Reporter: You were everywhere today [laughs].

Jordan: Oh. All right.

Reporter: Active on both ends of the floor. What was the key to get you going?

Jordan: Umm... [bobs head]... we did it.

Reporter: Just enjoying the music?

Jordan: I was listening to Tupac and I forgot the question. But other than that, ahh, I don't know what the question was, but it had to do with... yeah... all right.

Reporter: You were everywhere, offensively and defensively. So for you, what was the biggest difference in getting going early on?

At that point, Jordan finally went into a generic, canned athlete answer, and the world resumed turning.

We will never forget the tiny tear in the sports reporting matrix — thank you 'Pac! Speaking of the former international superstar, we recently reported that the Grammy Museum in L.A. is opening up a 2Pac-themed exhibit in February.

Fans will get a glimpse at several treasures, including:

  • The Versace suit Shakur wore to the 1996 Grammy Awards ceremony.
  • The tape box and studio notes from the first recording session Shakur did after his release from prison.
