Blake Shelton pulled double duty on last night's Jan. 24 episode of Saturday Night Live. The host performed in a few sketches that poked fun at his country side, The Bachelor and his coaching gig on The Voice before taking the stage to perform "Neon Light" from last year's Bringing Back the Sunshine. Shelton, one of the more humorous celebrities on the NBC singing show, was a good sport with all the jokes.

Keenan Thompson did his best Steve Harvey in order to host a fake Family Feud that featured Shelton's Voice co-stars taking on some personalities from American Idol. Thompson hit Shelton first, calling him a "metrosexual lumberjack." He went down the line, hurling zingers at Adam Levine (Taran Killam), Keith Urban (Kate McKinnon) and Nicki Minaj (Sasheer Zamata). The best insult came when Thompson arrived at Kyle Mooney's Steven Tyler, calling him Stevie Nicks and "a dreamcatcher [that] came to life."

The crew also spoofed ABC's The Bachelor, using Shelton as the focus in Farm Hunk. Whoever wins gets to move back to Iowa with Shelton to his "stinky" farm town where there is "no one there your own age to be friends with." When Zamata's character comes up in the rotation, Shelton has to make sure she is OK with "never seeing another black person again" to which she gives the standard "I'd love that" answer all the women are using.

The singer chose the lead single from his most recent album for his first performance, a wise decision for a national audience. He kept it pretty tame, saving some energy for his encore "Boys 'Round Here" from 2013's Based on a True Story ...

You will be able to see Shelton on the small screen again soon enough since The Voice returns in February. The coach won last year with Craig Wayne Boyd. He has the most wins of any coach on the show so far.
