The end of 2014 was very personal for Nicki Minaj as she bore all to the world about her love life and how it influenced her process of creating her latest album The Pinkprint. The man at the center of this is her ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, who became embroiled in controversy after he gave an interview with the Breakfast Club and made comments that insinuated that he had written some of Minaj's music. There were those who questioned his claims from the start as a possible publicity stunt to remain in the spotlight or help launch something of his own, but he has taken to twitter to clear up the whole matter. Samuels has admitted that he did not ghostwrite for Minaj because she was too smart and did not need someone like him to write music for her. See the tweets below via Hot New Hip Hop.
