Nero is not the most public trio, but when they do make some sort of announcement it comes with importance. The UK dubstep outfit have been working on an album for a long time and when the months came and went on 2014, fans were disappointed to know that they were going to go a third straight year without an album. "Satisfy," the lead single from the album, did anything but, only stoking the fire of want for the follow up to 2011's Welcome Reality. There are positive signs however that a new album will be on its way a lot sooner then fans might have imagined.

According to a now deleted tweet via Dancing Astronaut from engineer Stuart Hawkes at the infamous Metropolis Studios in London, he has "started mastering the latest album from Nero today..." Adding that it is "definitely worth waiting for!" Hawkes has had his hands on countless major projects from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Lorde and others, so his expertise will be used well putting together Nero's latest LP.

Since 2011 the trio of Daniel Stephens, Joe Ray and Alana Watson has been releasing material sparingly, getting co-production credits on a Muse song "Follow Me," sharing a two track EP and writing a song for the star-studded The Great Gatsby soundtrack that featured the likes of Jay Z and Lana Del Rey. They also picked up Grammy win in 2013 for their remix of their own song "Promises" alongside Skrillex as he swept the Grammys.

If the creative brilliance and raw power of Welcome Reality can be found in the group's next LP then fans will be in for a treat, and "Satisfy" has already shown they are headed down that path.
