One man was shot dead outside a pre-Grammys party in Los Angeles last night, Feb. 7, after a reported argument. According to TMZ, two men were involved in a dispute outside the Supperclub. The fight resulted in the shooting death of one man. An array of hip-hop talent was in the club, including Wiz Khalifa, Schoolboy Q, DJ Paul and Snoop Dogg.
Police said the two men involved in the argument belonged to gangs and may not have even been inside the club. Law enforcement in the area has a suspect in custody. No other information has been released regarding the incident.
Republic Records executives gathered for a pre-Grammys pow-wow, where they outlined the label's plans for 2015. The Weeknd, Of Monsters and Men and James Bay all have releases due out. Roc Nation also had their traditional pre-Grammys brunch yesterday. Jay Z, Queen Bey, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Willow Smith and Rihanna were all in attendance.
Tonight, Feb. 8, marks the 57th Grammy Awards show, which will take place at the Staples Center in L.A. Billed as "Music's Biggest Night," the award ceremony will feature honors and performances by some of today's biggest stars.
