Beck took the stage on the heels of a big win for Album Of The Year to perform the track "Heart Is A Drum" from his Grammy Award winning album Morning Phase alongside Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin. The pair came together in a harmonic duet to perform an emotive rendition of the song at the 2015 Grammys. Beck led the song on vocals and on acoustic guitar, while Martin followed his lead, leaning on the mic as he added his own vocal talents to the song.

They did not bring in the same level of production as some of the other performers, like AC/DC, with simple white spotlights behind them, tan backgrounds and intricate copper metalworking. Beck brought along a backing band with an upright bass, piano and others to fill out the sounds of this great Beck record. Watch the performance below.

Beck has had a Grammys to remember. He was nominated upsetting pop stars like Beyoncé, Pharrell and Ed Sheeran, Beck's Morning Phase took the crown for Album of the Year. The Grammys were a big fan of his album Morning Phase as it also won Best Rock Album and Best Engineered Album, Non Classical, but his song "Blue Moon" was beaten out by Paramore for Best Rock Song.

Chris Martin came into the day with three Grammy nominations with Coldplay. The band lost to A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera in the Best Pop Duo / Group Performance category for their track "A Sky Full Of Stars" alongside Avicii, while also losing out to Sam Smith in Best Pop Vocal album and 20 Feet Of Stardom in Best Music Film
