Bill Cosby may have issued a few emphatic statements insisting that his career is far from over, but his actions seem to indicate otherwise. On Thursday an interview went out informing ticket holders that Cosby's show scheduled for Providence, Rhode Island on June 26 has been postponed. According to the Providence Performing Arts Center no further information or details were available regarding Cosby's newest cancellation.

As so often seems to be the case, pulling the plug on this gig comes directly on the heels of new allegations by not one, but two different women being made public yesterday. While Cosby has said that there is no validity to any of the claims that have been made against him by over two dozen women, the fact remains that his initial reaction seems to be to cancel a previously scheduled show.

It's not like the Providence show was right around the corner either. Bill Cosby's new allegations have caused him to opt out of gigs scheduled for this summer. If he is struggling to schedule anything new and canceling what was already scheduled then it's hard to see how even he could believe that his career isn't over yet. Part of the problem is the fact that for four months, rather than distancing himself from the scandal there are fresh allegations hitting the press regularly, causing some of his oldest friends to begin to turn their backs on him.

Do you think that there's any way for Cosby to salvage his career at this point or is it game over for him? If NBC and Netflix both won't work with him then Cosby really needs to do those shows on his tour rather than canceling them, doesn't he? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
