Following her Super Bowl collaboration with Katy Perry, Missy Elliott announced that she was heading back to the studio with her partner-in-crime and longtime producer Timbaland to cook up some new music. Not long after, she posted photo evidence of the two in the studio. Now, she's back in the studio again, but this time with another award-winning producer, Pharrell Williams.

Elliott took to Twitter last night to post a black-and-white photo (see above) of her donning a Biggie and Tupac shirt next to fellow Virgina native Skateboard P, captioning the pic, "VA! 2 up 2 down! Me & my fam @Pharrell hard at work."

The two shared the stage recently at the 2014 BET Awards when Pharrell brought out Elliott as a surprise to perform "Pass That Dutch."

No other details have been given on Elliott's upcoming album, which will come at least ten years after her last effort, 2005's Cookbook. However, she recently dropped new verses on Jack Ü (Diplo, Skrillex) and Kiesza's latest remix to "Take Ü There."

Back when she first announced she would be working on new music with Timabland, she didn't want to give away too much too early.

"We gonna get in and get some work done," she told Sway Calloway on his morning show. "I don't want to say too much because this day and time, boy, you say something, they will come back two weeks later like, 'Where your album at?!'"

Elliott's albums and songs got a 2,500 percent sales boost following the Super Bowl Halftime show, where she performed her hits "Get Your Freak On," "Work It," and "Lose Control." She also got an overall 676 percent increase in steams on Spotify following her performance.
