The Voice season eight is already jam packed with major pop stars: from coaches Pharrell, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine to advisors like Meghan Trainor and Lionel Richie. But now, this year's key advisor has finally been revealed, and the man sure is a lot of "fun."

Nate Ruess, the frontman of fun. and "Nothing Without Love" singer will be joining Pharrell, Aguilera, Shelton and Levine as the big name key advisor of The Voice season eight, Buzzfeed Music reports.

Ruess took a break from recording his debut solo album to travel down to The Voice's Burbank, California, studios to lend his talents to the contestants during the upcoming Knockout Rounds.

"I'm super excited and always happy to lend whatever knowledge I have to other vocalists," Ruess said in a statement. "Plus I've heard nothing but great things about Blake, Pharrell, Christina, and the guy with the tattoos."

Ruess will begin his run on The Voice on March 23 and he'll stay on for four episodes (two weeks) as the contestants attempt to knock each other out to make it to the live solo rounds.

He follows Taylor Swift as The Voice key advisor. Ruess also joins a slew of big name guest coaches on this season of The Voice. Shelton tapped Trainor and Pharrell got Richie for their teams during the Battle Rounds. Ellie Goulding is helping out Team Adam and the star power is notched up with the help of Nick Jonas on Team Christina.

Ruess' stint on The Voice comes ahead of the release of his solo album while his band fun. is on an extended hiatus. He released his solo single "Nothing Without Love" in February.
