The One Direction fandom was rocked yesterday (March 19) when Zayn Malik quit the On The Road Again Tour due to "stress" after rumors were sparked that he's been cheating on his fiancée Perrie Edwards of Little Mix. But, how is the 1D crooner doing? And are his 1D bandmates worried about him?

According to a source at People, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles are first and foremost caring about Malik's wellbeing.

"The rest of the guys are really worried about him but disappointed he's not there," the source said. "Their main concern is they want him to get better."

Tomlinson reportedly has the most worried about Malik quitting the band, because the two are the "closest" in the five-piece boy band.

Despite what may be inner turmoil within the band, on social media 1D continues to roll on. Though Payne admitted that yesterday was "a day," Horan and Styles are continuing to look forward to the rest of 1D's live engagements in Asia.

Malik's future in One Direction is likely to continue, though he has had the hardest time dealing with stress out of his bandmates.

"Zayn finds it tougher than the rest of his band-mates dealing with fame. Having his every movement scrutinized causes great anxiety and the pictures which surfaced with the fan yesterday was the final straw," a source close to 1D told The Mirror. "He did nothing wrong but the amount of criticism he received was simply too much. He needs to get away."
